Human Planet Redefines the Advisory Model: New Affiliate Partner Scheme Champions Portfolio Careers and the Care Economy

LONDON / ZURICH / DUBAI – May 4, 2026 –  Human Planet today announced a radical redesign of its global workforce model with the launch of the Affiliate Partner Scheme. Moving beyond the rigid structures of traditional corporate advisory, the program is specifically engineered to support portfolio careers and the care economy, providing a high-level professional home for elite advisors who require or choose radical flexibility.

While the advisory industry has long struggled with “all-or-nothing” career paths that often exclude those with caregiving responsibilities or diverse professional interests, Human Planet is formalising a “third way.” According to the World Bank, the care economy can be valued at USD11 trillion (or approximately 9 percent of global GDP)  if individuals were compensated. This is a staggering number of carers who are often unsupported structurally. Human Planet’s new scheme directly dismantles this barrier.

The Affiliate Partner Scheme allows experts in sustainable finance and nonprofit strategy to maintain their autonomy while accessing the full operational infrastructure, brand equity, and partnership track of a global firm.

By offering a formal, operationally integrated pathway to senior partnership, the firm provides elite “portfolio” professionals the infrastructure, brand equity, and high-value mandate origination support of a global firm, without demanding traditional office-bound exclusivity.

The traditional advisory model is not fit for purpose because it assumes that professional excellence and personal lifecycles are in constant competition,” said Sabrin Rahman, Partner at Human Planet. “We are proving that you can be a parent, a caregiver, or a multi-hyphenate professional and successfully lead a high-impact mandate. By intentionally designing a structure that supports the care economy and the ‘portfolio’ professional, we aren’t just being inclusive; we are securing the absolute best talent on the planet.

Unlike loose referral networks, the Affiliate Partner Scheme is built on operational equity and transparency. Partners receive full firm integration, priority access to Human Planet’s robust bid management and research teams, and a transparent, performance-based compensation framework. This infrastructure acts as a “safety net,” empowering independent advisors to compete for and execute global mandates that would typically be out of reach for a solo practitioner. It ensures compensation and progression are based entirely on output and real-world impact, rather than face-time or arbitrary hierarchy.
