Step 1: Sign up, Project Identification & Preparation

Duration: 3–4 Months
Process:
  • Implementation organisation in the climate, development and aid sector become partners of of the project readiness programme (see here how)
  • Implementing organizations (UN Agencies, NGOs, IGOs, development contractors) submit their projects.
  • Together we refine and structure these projects to be “private finance-ready.”

Step 2: Project Development & Investment Readiness

Activities:
  • Comprehensive project design, pitch preparation, and data room creation.
  • Guidance on aligning projects with investor requirements—impact metrics, risk mitigation, ROI potential.

Step 3: Engagement with Impact Capital Providers

Investor Circle:
  • Private investors, foundations, DFIs, and family offices review “investment-ready” projects.
  • “Dragon’s Den” style pitch sessions, both online and in-person, facilitate direct conversations and potential deals.

Step 4: Capital Deployment & Project Implementation

Funding:
  • Investors provide capital directly into projects or project portfolios.
  • Human Planet offers transaction support  ensuring smooth capital deployment and project follow-up.

Step 5: Ongoing Support & Scaling

Continuous Pipeline:
  • New projects enter the accelerator on a rolling basis.
  • Regular engagement ensures sustained momentum, growing impact, and ongoing investor interest.
