Stephen has decades of experience working in a wide range of humanitarian and development scenarios across Africa, Asia, Middle East, and Europe, and has secured funding from an array of institutional donors. He holds an LMM in public international law from the University of London; which provides a guiding perspective when it comes to the development and narration of projects. To improve the prospect of being awarded a grant, he promotes the concept that one must write for the donor evaluator, challenging them with new information, which can only come from engaging with all stakeholders, rather than relying on technical explanations.
